Great job Ron. If you look at the existing VirtualMock (virtualmock.org) homepage, I have decided to put the project on hold, for many of the same reasons you mention here. Writing a custom API and advising every class in the world just wasn't a good thing to do, but I didn't have the time or motivation to figure out a better approach. Looks like you did!

Is it at all possible that you share the code?
Maybe I can take it further or join your development efforts?
